TanSmarter gives you clear control over your account data. This page explains how to request account deletion, what data may be retained temporarily for legal or operational reasons, and how long requests typically take to process.
Requesting Account Deletion
To request deletion of your account and associated personal data:
- Send an email to support@tansmarter.com from the email address connected to your account.
- Use a clear subject line such as
Delete my account. - Include your full name and any additional details that help us verify account ownership.
For account security, we may ask for minimal follow-up information to confirm identity before we process deletion.
What We Delete
When a deletion request is completed, we remove or anonymize personal account information connected to your profile, including:
- Account profile details
- Session history and user-generated records tied to your identity
- Preferences associated with the deleted account
What May Be Retained Temporarily
Certain information may be retained for a limited period when required to:
- Comply with legal obligations
- Prevent abuse, fraud, or repeated policy violations
- Maintain short-term operational backups
Any retained data is restricted, handled securely, and removed when retention is no longer required.
Processing Timeline
We aim to process verified deletion requests promptly. In most cases, requests are completed within a reasonable operational window after identity verification. Complex requests or legal constraints can require additional time.
